Information You Give Us

Listening is open to everyone — you can play, like, and follow artists without giving us anything at all.

Downloads are for members. When you subscribe to unlock them, we ask for two things: your name and your email address. That’s the whole form. We do not ask for a password, a phone number, an address, or payment details.

Information Collected Automatically

When you play, like, follow, or download a song, we record that action so we can see which music is connecting with people. We keep running totals — how many times a track has been played or downloaded, how many people follow an artist.

We also store a small amount of information directly in your browser so the site remembers that you’ve subscribed and which songs you’ve already liked. This keeps us from asking you the same thing twice. It stays on your device and is not shared with anyone.

How This Information Is Connected

We want to be straightforward with you about this. Once you’ve subscribed, the activity described above is associated with the name and email you gave us. That means we can see which songs a particular member played or downloaded.

We use this only to understand what our members enjoy and to make better music for them. It is never sold, never shared, and never used to build a profile of you anywhere outside this site.

How We Use Your Information

Your name and email are used to send you updates by email — new songs, new artists joining the collective, and news such as an artist arriving on Spotify or other streaming platforms. We do not send text messages.

Your listening activity helps us understand which music resonates so we know what to create next. That is the full extent of it.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers or marketing companies. We do not run ads on this site. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not use outside analytics services — everything stays on our own system.

Where Your Information Is Kept

Subscriber details and listening totals are stored in this website’s own database, hosted with Hostinger. Nothing is passed to a third-party analytics or advertising platform.

If you choose to make a donation, that transaction is handled entirely by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at info@heirborncollective.net, and we will remove you from the list. You can also ask us to delete your information entirely, and we will.

Clearing your browser data will erase what the site has stored on your device. You may simply be asked to subscribe again the next time you download something.

Children

Some of our music is made with young listeners in mind, and families are welcome here. That said, this site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has subscribed, please contact us and we will remove the information promptly.
